
Parents Place is a family resource center for families with children ages 0-18. Parenting is a tough job and a tremendous responsibility. All families can benefit from sound parenting information and support.
Small fees may apply to participate in the programs at Parents Place. Do not let the cost of classes keep you from inquiring. Some fees may be reduced within reason or scholarships granted. We will work with you to meet your need.
Classes support groups and play groups are typically held Monday through Thursday 9:30a.m. - 8:00p.m. A schedule with specific program dates and times are available three times through out the year. Please contact us to be added to the mailing list.
Our address is 1570 E. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha, located between Jennifer Lane and Manhattan Drive - just west of the M&I Bank.
Our ServicesGroups are on-going throughout the year to share and learn in a safe non-judgemental setting. Support groups offer bi-monthly discussions about parent/child relationships and focus on topics that will be encouraging and influential in the parent/child relationship.
Our instructors will teach you effective ways to build a positive relationship with your child. Topics include, but are not limited to, child development, discipline, defiance, communication, stress, and anger management.
We offer a variety of groups just for kids! Topics include self-esteem, anger management, sibling rivalry, teen support and Attention Deficit Disorder.
Fun activities and play creates an atmosphere where your child will be stimulated and nurtured in a safe environment. Parents and caregivers connect with the desire of raising children well in this society and common interests as adults. Registration required for all playgroups.
Free on-site child care is available for most groups, classes, and workshops. There are toys, games, books and snacks for your child to enjoy while being cared for by our professional and loving staff.
This program provides education, support and safe, conflict-free access for non-custodial parents and their children to promote appropriate parent-child interaction and build stable families.
